MP's debate on faulty electrical goods

Leading safety charity, Electrical Safety First, is delighted the Government has acknowledged the importance of its campaign against dangerous electrical items - recently highlighted by media headlines around damage caused by white goods such as tumble-dryers and gadgets such as hoverboards. At a recent Westminster Hall debate, MPs discussed not only the flood of fakes entering the UK – particularly through online outlets - but also the issue of substandard items.

Electrician wins £150,000 Aston Martin

An electrician who drives an old van has won a jaw-droppingly beautiful Aston Martin DB9 Volante with - the supercar giveaway people. surprised electrician Francois Chklar at his job in Hammersmith at 10am today where they handed him the keys. The best part of it all was he had no idea!
Francois has religiously played for the DB9 for a few years and was understandably well happy when he was surprised in the middle of a rewiring job. The £143,000 DB9 also came with £10k cash in the boot!
