Star duo booked to appear at Live South

Matt Allwright and Geoff Hurst will be the guest speakers at this year’s Live South which takes place at Epsom Downs on May 19th. Allwright is the well-known consumer affairs reporter who presents BBC’s Rogue Traders and Watchdog programmes. He will be discussing some of the risks posed by dodgy tradespersons and highlighting the importance of using registered electricians.
Hurst is one of the heroes from England’s 1966 World Cup winning team and still the only man to score a hat-trick in a World Cup final. He will be discussing what it takes to create a winning team and recounting tales from his past as a successful sportsman and business entrepreneur.
Live South is an award winning conference and exhibition event organised by NICEIC and ELECSA. Now in its sixth year it is one of the highlights of the electrical industry calendar and last year attracted more than 500 visitors.
This year’s event promises to be even bigger and better as NICEIC celebrates its 60th anniversary.

The IET’s Mark Coles will provide some insight into the 18th edition of the Wiring regulations which is expected to be introduced in 2018. He will be joined by a host of other speakers from across the industry for a full day of informative seminars.
There will also be a packed exhibition hall where contractors can try out some of the latest products on the market featuring leading names such as Bosh Power Tools, Elite Security Products, Schneider Electric and Scolmore who are this year’s headline sponsors.
